A four-part mini-taster sessions for how to self-care when there are so many competing demands. Topics covered will include meditation, nutrition, exercise and foundational planning. This Why Be You event is part of the Hornsby Ku-ring-gai International Women's Day, Why Be You will donate any profits to the Local Women's Wellbeing Program Fund.

Event:  Triple H Community Radio - Monday Focus

This Monday Focus will be all about the Festival with 3 of our major sponsors topping the billing with Adrienne McLean and Greg Smith. This weekly show focuses on community topics, issues, activities, charities, clubs and hobbies.

Group:  Girls Youth Group - It's time to be awesome

The regular girls group from Streetwork, Why Be You and Ku-ring-gai Youth Services will celebrate being a young woman with a girls pamper session including mini hand massages, relaxation techniques and smart snack foods. Everyone welcome.

Group:  Parenting Teens - a Mother's Perspective

Our regular Why Be You term-time parenting teens program will host a mothers special to discuss some of the issues that are particularly relevant to women in parenting roles. There can be many challenges but there is also much to celebrate and embrace. This evening will be an opportunity to share experiences and get an insight into some of the female specific parts of parenting.
